Our babies play in air conditioned rooms and there are lovely floor to ceiling windows overlooking our large outdoor area.
The room is set up with resources that will stimulate and promote your child’s learning and development.
We have a sleep room for the babies which has cots available for those children who have a routine at home of sleeping in a cot, the sleep room is frequently checked by staff to ensure that they are safe.

Older Toddler Room
Our Foxes is set up over 2 rooms, we have a carpeted area that leads through to a large wet area. The carpeted area has a home corner and a small world play area – cars, dolls house etc. The wet area is where all the fun messy activities happen – paint, glue, sand, water, playdough.

Over 2yrs
The Squirrels has a large, carpeted area and a large wet area in one room and a second room which has a music area and a computer. All the resources that staff set up daily are promoting the children’s learning and development.

Pre-school year September to August before entry into school reception.
Our Owls are in their room for the year before they go into reception. Staff are providing resources and planning activities that are ensuring children have a foundation of skills and attributes that will help them be confident and capable learners.

At the Wendy House we provide support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We have 3 Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCo’s) who are responsible for ensuring that all children with SEND are fully included into the nursery. They support staff to plan activities that will promote the children’s learning and development and set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant & time based (SMART) targets for children.
We have a lift in nursery that takes you up to the second floor. This is available for parents to use if needed.
We have a large, secure outdoor area and a smaller fenced garden. We ask parents to bring appropriate clothing for the garden coats and boots when wet and cold, suncream and sun hats for the warmer weather. We have an outside-covered classroom for the summer time.
We have a wide selection of toy cars, bikes and climbing equipment. The garden has resources that are set out daily depending on the weather.
Our large woodland area is available for children to explore and engage their inquisitive minds.
We have a pram park available for parents who are walking. This is a small garage at the back of the nursery, all we ask is that parents fold down their pushchairs.
